Therapy for Wholehearted Wellness, as an act of resistance and reclamation of self

Specializing in trauma therapy, anxiety counseling, perinatal support, and cultural identity focused care

Hi, I’m Trish.

Take a breath. You’ve made it here, and that matters. It takes a lot of courage to begin this search. And you deserve a place where your story can be held with care and your whole self honored.

I believe that therapy can be an act of love, resistance, and reclamation. My role is to walk alongside you, nurturing a space where your story is honored and your wholeness is remembered.

Two-Eyed Healing

As a mixed-race & bicultural therapist, I embrace the wisdom of "Etuaptmumk," the Mi'kmaw concept of Two-Eyed Seeing, shared by Mi'kmaw Elder Albert Marshall. This teaching honors the strength of weaving Indigenous knowledge and ways of being (what we’ve always known!) with the tools and insights of Western approaches, uplifting a more holistic approach to healing and wellness.

My approach is rooted in an Indigenous healing perspective and a commitment to decolonial practices. Together, we‘ll explore connections between mind, body, and environment.

I recognize the impacts of systemic oppression and colonialism on personal and collective well-being. It is through this lens that I nurture a space where resilience and reclamation intersect, supporting you on your journey toward healing, balance, and connection.

Therapy Modalities

I draw from several frameworks and modalities, including:

  • Somatic Processing and addressing trauma through body-based awareness and nervous system regulation

  • Relational Cultural Therapy

  • Emotion Focused Therapy

  • Brainspotting, a focused, body-based therapy that uses eye positioning to access and process deeply rooted trauma and emotional pain

  • Attachment Based

  • Mindfulness Based

  • Humanistic

  • Multicultural Counseling

  • Tribal Based Knowledge
